Do you only do full-arch implants?
No. Yonsei Ona Dental performs all implant treatments from single tooth implants to full-arch implants (All on X). We apply the same digital guided surgery system to individual implants for precise and quick treatment.
Isn't digital guided surgery more expensive?
Yonsei Ona Dental provides top-quality implant treatment at reasonable prices. The precision of digital guided surgery eliminates risk of revision surgery, making it more economical in the long run. Those 65 and older may be eligible for health insurance coverage, and we offer interest-free installments and various promotions to reduce your burden.
Can I eat right after surgery?
Yes, you can. Thanks to our same-day high-strength temporary teeth produced in our in-house lab, you can eat soft foods immediately after surgery. There's not a single day without teeth, and you can return to daily life right after surgery. Final prosthetics are crafted at the same dental lab used by Yonsei University Dental Hospital.
How is digital guided surgery different from regular surgery?
Digital guided surgery begins with 3D oral scanning for precise diagnosis, then performs virtual surgery on a computer first. This designs the optimal placement position, minimizing deviation to within 1mm and reducing incisions. The result is shorter procedure time and minimized pain, swelling, and bone grafting.
How long does implant treatment take?
It varies depending on individual oral condition, but typically takes 2-4 months. With our immediate prosthetic implant system, you can use temporary teeth right after surgery, and final prosthetics are placed after complete bone-implant integration. Exact duration will be provided after 3D CT diagnosis.
Is implant surgery painful?
You can receive treatment comfortably through conscious sedation. You'll feel almost no pain during surgery, and even after surgery, our digital guided surgery's minimal incision approach results in significantly less swelling and pain compared to traditional surgery. Prescribed pain medication is sufficient for management.
